Park Ave Pet Wash began close to home. We noticed an empty storefront and wanted a convenient place to wash our own dog between grooming visits. That simple need became a business our entire family could help build and run.

Located on SW Park Avenue in downtown Portland, the wash gives neighbors a dedicated space to bathe their pets. Customers stay with their animals and do the washing themselves, with wash equipment and finishing essentials ready to use. The experience is designed to be straightforward, from secure entry to a clean walk home.

For us, it is also a practical introduction to entrepreneurship for the next generation. Caring for the space and serving real customers turns a small neighborhood business into a shared family responsibility.
